Boom Bots was our first internal production to aim for a home-console.
The gameplay is heavily inspired by Bomberman but with more hardcorish elements.
I had the pleasure to work really close with our new concept guy Johannes Grewer who
also created this final mockup for our pitch.

Concepting and UI

Part of the concepting phase was to get an idea how we can create a unique but also familiar look.
The game should talk to core gamers in the same way as to casuals who just want to play some couch multiplayer.
In the same way everything should look readable and transfer as much information as possible.
